Our range is tailored with the seasons, so evolves to fit in with the best ingredients available at that time of year. 

Many of our products are naturally free from gluten, dairy and refined sugar, lots are vegan too.

Evolution

Many of you will not know but Ripe was born at the back end of 2016 and has constantly been evolving since. It’s largely been solo, but for the last year or so of running the shop it became a very different beast, which I increasingly found myself detached from. I was no longer doing the things I enjoyed and ultimately the negatives were outweighing the positives.
It was taking its toll on my well-being and in its old form not what I want to be doing. The financial + staffing climate only made my decision easier. I didn’t start my own business to prove anything or make a load of cash – but to share my passion for food – to enlighten and educate. For me this wasn’t happening anymore.
So Ripe at 9 Market Street came to an end ; the last day was Friday 27th January 2023. It wasn’t an easy decision to make and one that equally filled me with sadness and excitement! I never envisaged my business growing so much and I am so grateful for your support and friendly faces - I can’t thank you enough and I hope you’ll continue following the journey of Ripe.

This is not the end of Ripe! I am currently in the process of studying to become a nutritional therapist, so although my focus has shifted this is just the next evolution of Ripe. I have paused pop-ups and hope to resume in Spring/Summer 2024 from The Little Green Clinic . Sign up to the newsletter to hear about the next one along with recipes and nutritional nuggets!
